The Performance Carbon Mast was developed with Armstrong's America's Cup foil design partners, to a brief that called for a unique blend of strength, stiffness, minimal drag, and light weight. Combining CFD analysis with expert insight and feedback from key team riders, every section of the mast — from top plate to fuselage connection — was designed for maximum efficiency and the best feel possible. The section is optimized for the broad speed range real-world riders actually experience across different foiling disciplines.
Construction
Manufactured with premium Toray intermediate and high modulus carbon fiber, the mast is built every bit as beautifully as it looks. Premium titanium and 316L surgical stainless steel hardware creates a light, highly corrosion-resistant connection that stays durable over time — at home on lakes, rivers, and coastal waters alike.
