The spot
Vila Nova de Milfontes
A small white-and-blue village on the Alentejo coast in Portugal, where the Mira river meets the Atlantic.
This stretch of coast is a protected natural park. No towers, no crowds, just cliffs, pines and swell that has crossed the whole Atlantic to get here. And when the session ends, the village does the rest: great restaurants, quiet streets and nobody in a hurry.

FAQ
Everything else you're wondering
2-hour or 3-hour session — which one is for me?+
What level do I need?+
You should be a competent foiler for the sessions as we offer them — whether you come from wingfoiling, parawinging, surf foiling, kitefoiling, e-foiling or wakefoiling.
If you're completely new to foiling, you're welcome too: we start you behind our boat on flat water instead of the jetski in the waves. Once you can get up behind the boat, we move on to the jetski.
Whatever your level, it's important that you're comfortable in waves.
Best season+
The swell season runs from October to May. October, November, April and May usually bring slightly smaller swell and warmer temperatures; December through March tend to have the most consistent waves.

Renting a car+
Renting a car is often the best and cheapest way to get to us. We recommend using a site like booking.com/cars to find one.
Keep in mind: to get to the cheaper rental companies you take a shuttle from the airport, which can add 30–45 minutes. They'll also try to sell you expensive insurance once you're there — if you don't want that, you'll need at least €2,500 of available credit on your credit card.
Companies like Hertz, Europcar and Sixt have desks right at the airport and are often quicker.
We can also arrange a taxi for you — €450 round trip.
What else is there to do?+
How does booking work?+
What's included — and what should I bring?+
Every session includes a jetski with a driver, board, foil, and an impact vest and helmet (best to bring your own if you have it).
For every 4 sessions, a free lunch and a private spa session (hot tub, sauna, pool) are included.
You should bring a wetsuit (4/3 mm or 5/3 mm).
If you'd like to bring your own foil and/or board, you can.
What if the ocean doesn't cooperate?+
