The pod position is the whole design. Sitting further forward than a typical integration, it reduces drag ahead of the mast and gets more out of the prop, so power-up is seamless rather than a shove. The mast itself shares the layup and design DNA of Armstrong's Performance Carbon Mast: Toray high modulus carbon, high stiffness, low flex, precise feedback whether you are pumping through bumps or carving a section. The A+ System joins mast, fuselage, front wing and stabilizer with a hexagonal tapered fit that is torsionally rigid and durable, with titanium and stainless steel hardware to keep corrosion out.

- Length: 795 mm
- Pod height: 185 mm — the sweet spot for most foil-assist disciplines: low drag, well balanced, and practically invisible once you are on foil. Some advanced riders prefer a pod closer to the board and some beginners stretch to 220 mm for extra margin, but 185 mm remains the versatile middle ground.
Compatibility
Compatible with Foil Drive V2 motors only — both Standard and High Power — with two-blade props, and with Foil Drive Assist MAX and Foil Drive Assist Slim. Not compatible with Gen1 Foil Drive systems (Assist or Assist PLUS). The Foil Drive motor is sold separately.

What assist actually changes
