Mk II Carbon Mast
The Mk II runs a 15.8 mm profile — thicker than the Performance Mk II's 13.8 mm and the Performance X's 12 mm, on purpose. Thicker means stable and predictable rather than sharp, and it means nothing to set up: rake is a neutral 0 degrees. Four lengths, 655 to 865 mm.

Re-engineered from Armstrong's original mast and laid up in high modulus carbon, so the stiffness stays where it was on day one. The 15.8 mm section trades some efficiency for control: the ride is predictable at every speed and forgiving when a turn goes wrong. The updated profile still drags clearly less than alloy, and the corrosion-resistant construction is built for regular use, travel and salt water.

Rake is a neutral 0 degrees — nothing to shim, nothing to second-guess. Compatible across the full Armstrong foil range, including S1.

This is the mast you buy coming off alloy. It gives you the one step that changes the most, without asking you to pick a specialty first. The thinner sections — Performance Mk II at 13.8 mm, Performance X at 12 mm — are there later, if you ever want them.
