The build
X-Form Precision Molded Board Technology: CNC-machined molds and composite materials that come out lighter, stiffer and more durable than a traditional build. A high-density PVC wrap and the Dual Carbon Stringer System keep it that way, with the carbon foil tracks locked straight into the stringers. There is a Foil Drive window if you run assist. Armstrong tested it in New Zealand water, which is not a gentle place to test a board.
Underfoot
The thinner X-Form profile puts you closer to the foil. The displacement hull and reworked bottom contours stop touchdowns from grabbing, so a bad landing costs you a second rather than the run, and the surf-style squash tail keeps take-offs quick. The Forward Geometry foil track takes any foil system. The deck grip has dual arch bars, rear foot wedges and foil track indicators, so you can find your feet without looking down.
