Design & construction
The Austin Tovey Pro uses a high-stiffness double-skin carbon fiber and PVC sandwich construction, with extra PVC layering around the nose, tail, and rails to help prevent dings, and additional carbon reinforcement around the foil track box and the primary weight-bearing zones on deck. The Quad Carbon Stringer System keys the proprietary carbon fiber foil tracks directly into the fibers of the stringers, creating a fully integrated structure with high rigidity and immediate feedback on every input.
Shape & deck
The compact outline cuts length to an absolute minimum for maximum responsiveness, while purposeful volume distribution makes takeoffs and jump recovery easier. A double concave bottom gives quick touch-and-go release, a slight nose kick and minimal rocker add stability and smooth landings, and the V-tail delivers a clean, efficient water exit. On deck, a grippy pad with micro cutouts keeps you locked in for strapless tricks, backed by a surf-style kickpad, raised deck wedges and arch bars for intuitive foot placement, and footstrap inserts for riders who want to strap in. Minimal board thickness keeps the connection to the foil direct.
