Evolving from the Downwind Performance board, it pairs a fast-paddling displacement hull with a more compact, maneuverable outline. Available in 7'8", 8'2", 8'6", and 8'10".

Displacement hull
The core evolution of the Mk III Ocean is its hull, now displacement rather than planing. The result is greater paddling speed and straighter tracking without needing the length of the previous Performance board — ideal for chasing down open-ocean swell. It also takes less effort to get up to speed, so the board gives you every advantage when you are digging deep for that last pop-up of the run.
Outline & maneuverability
The Ocean is shorter per volume than the prior Performance board. Combined with the Forward Geometry foil tracks, it is ready to lay snappy S-turns all the way down your run.
Rails & deck
More rounded rails and softer chines provide consistent, comfortable stability so you can put down full paddling power. The flatter deck creates a wider standing area, letting you move your feet where you want them for maximum control at high speed.
Design & construction
The Ocean is built around a pair of i-beam, top-to-bottom dual carbon stringers, with proprietary carbon fiber foil tracks keyed directly into the stringer fibers. The result is a stiff, responsive build that reacts instantly to your input.
