Downwind Mk III
The board you learn downwinding on and then keep. The displacement hull paddles fast enough that you get on foil before your technique is perfect, and the outline is shorter and a little narrower than the previous Downwind board, so it still turns once you're flying. Five sizes, 6'11" to 8'2".

The hull
Displacement, not planing. It's quick and efficient through the water, and that extra paddling speed is what catches the bump. You don't need textbook paddling to get up — you need speed, and the hull hands you some for free.
Outline and rails
Shorter and slightly narrower than the previous Downwind board, with Forward Geometry foil tracks. On foil it wants to rip turns. The rounded rails keep roll stability consistent and predictable, so the reduced dimensions don't punish you in chop.
Construction
Two i-beam carbon stringers run top to bottom, and the proprietary carbon fiber foil tracks are keyed into their fibers. Stiff board, direct feel.
