The shape
It borrows from two boards Armstrong already makes, the Surf Board and the WKT Mk II. Sharp rear chines and a squash tail for hard carving, a double concave bottom for pop and a clean release, and a V-tail exit so the board leaves the water without dragging. The volume is placed to get the board up and out early and to steady you on the landing.
Construction
Carbon fiber and PVC sandwich, with extra PVC around the nose, tail and rails and carbon around the foil track box and the weight-bearing zones on deck. Deck-to-bottom i-beam dual carbon stringers hold the carbon foil tracks. The deckpad has micro-cutouts, a surf-style kickpad, raised wedges, arch bars and footstrap inserts, so it works strapped or strapless.

At 3.2 kg it travels well — board bag, plane, done. If you only ever ride behind a ski, the WKT Mk II is shorter and stiffer-feeling; the Noah Flegel Pro is the one that also makes sense on a wave.
