MA Mk II
The MA Mk II is the second generation of Armstrong's Mid Aspect front foil. The new section drops take-off speed to where the HA series sits while keeping the top end of the original MA, and the narrower 8.0 aspect ratio span rolls rail to rail faster than the area suggests. Eight sizes, 490 to 1390 cm², in pre-preg Toray high modulus carbon fiber.

The section
A much wider speed range than the first MA, gained at both ends. Take-off speed comes down to the level of the HA series; top-end speed stays where the original MA was. That is the whole argument for this wing: you keep the mid aspect feel and stop paying for it in early flight.
The outline
Narrower span at 8.0 aspect ratio, in every size. A shorter span means a shorter arc to swing through a turn, so carving speed goes up for a given area and the roll from rail to rail feels continuous rather than stepped. Efficient wingtips give it remarkable ventilation recovery, and the section itself starts flying again immediately after a breach.

Who rides it
Wingers and surf foilers who are still building confidence get pitch stability that holds steady when the foil is powered up — coming off a high aspect wing, you will notice how much more the MA Mk II forgives. At the other end of the range, Cash Berzolla, 2x GWA Wave World Champion, rides it when landing maneuvers in critical conditions. Winging, prone and tow surfing all sit inside its speed range.
Fits
Both the Armstrong A+ System and the Alloy System, so it runs on either platform.
