Design & construction
The MA Mk II is the evolution of Armstrong's Mid Aspect front foil. At its core sits a new foil section with a massive speed range: takeoff speed is lowered to be on par with the HA series, while top-end speed stays similar to the first-generation MA. The mid aspect outline uses a narrower span at an 8.0 aspect ratio, which increases carving speed for a given area and gives the foil a quick, seamless roll rate and a fluid rail-to-rail feel. Efficient wingtips deliver remarkable ventilation recovery, and the foil section recovers instantly from breaches. Every size is molded from premium pre-preg Toray high modulus carbon fiber for a strong, stiff, and lightweight foil.
