Where it earns its keep
Downwind runs. The DWP holds its glide between bumps and answers pumping without needing a big shove, which is usually what decides whether a run continues or ends. The small areas keep drag down, so this is a wing for riders who can already get themselves flying and keep a run going.
The rest of the time
Surf and flat water do not feel like a compromise. It tracks straight when you leave it alone and turns when you ask — more than most dedicated downwind wings will give you.
