A carbon front wing with area to spare. The CF V2 comes in 950 and 1200 cm², so it flies early and holds its line without much input from you. It is not the fastest wing in the Armstrong range and does not pretend to be — it is the one that keeps flying when the wave goes soft.

On the water
Lift arrives early and stays even. The refined profile makes take-offs smooth and the glide steady, which is most of what you want on a small day. Turns are unhurried rather than sharp: with this much area the wing carries you through the arc, it does not flick.
The trade
Top speed. The CF V2 runs out of range earlier than a high aspect wing like the HA or the UHA. In exchange the low-speed window is wide and a late take-off costs you less.
