Speed range

The range starts in the foil section, which produces a lot of lift at the low end relative to how fast it will run at the top. In practice the size you pick covers more conditions than the number suggests: you keep the smaller, more maneuverable wing on days you would otherwise size up.

Trailing edge reflex

A small change to the trailing edge, a large change in feel. Reflex gives the HA pitch stability that a wing of this aspect ratio has no business having, which means real control authority at speed and through maneuvers, instead of constant fingertip correction just to keep it in the water. Riders who are still building skills get away with more; strong riders push harder.

Where it sits

More glide than the mid aspect MA Mk II, and you give up some of the MA's bite in a tight turn to get it. Less specialized than the UHA, built around downwind and light wind at 12.6 aspect ratio. The HA is the one that covers surf, wing and downwind without feeling like the wrong tool in any of them.

Development

Section shape, outline, rondure and profile came out of a leading CFD team, then got sorted out on the water under Armstrong's team riders. The brief was not only performance, but a wing that stays fun to rip on.
