XPS Mk II

Two years in development, the Armstrong XPS Mk II blends power, efficiency, and modularity. A lower-aspect airframe brings stability and upwind speed, the Teijin D3 Technoforce canopy in the Cross Panel Sail design keeps distortion low, and the Dyna-Link system lets you switch between carbon handles and a boom with no hardware. Ten sizes from 2 m² to 6.5 m² cover wing surfing, freestyle, and racing.

Optional add-on

Comes with handles as standard — add a DYNA-LINK Boom if you prefer riding with a boom. The boom size follows the wing size you pick.

Overview

After two years in development, the XPS Mk II is here. Whether it's next-level wing surfing, freestyle, or the Wednesday night local race, this evolution of the A-Wing delivers greater stability and upwind speed along with the all-new Dyna-Link handle system: a blend of power, efficiency, and modularity.

Airframe

A lower-aspect outline increases stability and smooths power delivery across the wind range, especially in the smaller sizes. Leading edge diameter and airfoil section balance gust stability with upwind efficiency, pre-twist lets the wing take its optimal shape while riding, and the slight double bend in the strut sets your arms at the best angle to reduce muscle fatigue. DLE 160 and 130 materials provide durability without sacrificing airframe performance.

Canopy

Teijin D3 Technoforce laid up in the Cross Panel Sail (XPS) design arranges panels at angles suited to load distribution, greatly reducing sail distortion, improving frame rigidity, and packing in more power. DLE 130 reinforcement panels protect the canopy, clear TPU windows provide excellent horizontal visibility along the strut, and removable carbon fiber trailing edge battens minimize flutter and allow tuning for varying wind strengths.

Dyna-Link handle system

Switch seamlessly between carbon handles and a boom, no hardware required. The wing comes standard with handles, with the option to add a boom; sizing follows wing size:

  • Small boom or handles: 2.0–3.0
  • Medium boom or handles: 3.5–4.0
  • Large boom or handles: 4.5 and up

Sizes

  • 2 m²
  • 2.5 m²

  • 4 m²
  • 4.5 m²
