This is the tail Armstrong drew alongside the MA Mk II front wing, and it shares that wing's foil section: low takeoff speed, high top end. A mid aspect outline keeps pitch settled without slowing things down, and the wingtips re-engage cleanly when one breaches the surface instead of ending the ride. Pre-preg Toray carbon, three sizes, fits the A+ System and the Alloy System.

Why this one
A stabilizer takes extreme torsional and bending loads, which is why this one is laid up in premium pre-preg Toray high and intermediate modulus carbon fiber: strong, stiff and light. The foil section is shared with the MA Mk II front wing, so front and back of the foil behave the same way — low takeoff speeds, high top end.
The mid aspect outline is a compromise Armstrong made on purpose: speed on one side, pitch stability on the other, with wingtips efficient enough to recover from ventilation rather than drop you.
