How the S1 flies
Step 1 comes out of the same design work as Armstrong's high-performance front wings, pointed at a different problem. It flies slow, holds its line with little input, and has a wide speed range, so a small mistake does not end the flight. It also handles surface ventilation well, which is where most early sessions come apart.

Bigger flies slower and forgives more. Go up if you are heavier or learning on a wing in light conditions.
Kit or separate parts
The kit is the sensible route when this is your first Armstrong setup: mast, fuselage and stabilizer are matched and in the box. If you already ride an Armstrong mast and fuselage, buy the S1 Front Foil on its own instead and save the duplicates.
