Built for Armstrong's Dyna-Link wings — the A-Wing XPS Mk II and the X-WING Performance Wing — the DYNA-LINK Boom pairs a circular-profile carbon core, made with the same technology as Armstrong's carbon foils, with a textured EVA foam exterior that feels direct and precise yet stays comfortable over long sessions. Three lengths — Small, Medium, and Large — are matched to your wing model and size. The XPS Mk II comes with handles as standard, so the boom is an optional way to ride it; the X-WING Performance ships without handles and needs one.

Design & construction
At the heart of the DYNA-LINK Boom is a circular-profile carbon core made with the same technology that goes into Armstrong's carbon foils. The result is a lightweight, strong boom that transmits rider input directly, with responsive handling and clear feedback. Over the carbon core sits a textured EVA foam exterior: a secure grip that remains comfortable through long sessions and demanding conditions.
Which size for which wing
The DYNA-LINK Boom comes in three lengths. The right one depends on your wing model as well as its size — the X-WING Performance takes a size step earlier than the XPS Mk II:
- Small — XPS Mk II 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 · X-WING Performance 2.5, 3.0, 3.5
- Medium — XPS Mk II 3.5, 4.0 · X-WING Performance 4.0, 4.5
- Large — XPS Mk II 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5 · X-WING Performance 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5

Compatibility
The DYNA-LINK Boom fits Armstrong's Dyna-Link wings: the A-Wing XPS Mk II, which comes with handles as standard — the boom is an optional way to ride it — and the X-WING Performance Wing, which ships without handles, so you'll need a boom to ride it. It will not mount to the prior-generation XPS wing, so check which version you are riding before ordering.

Every X-WING Performance rider needs one. On the XPS Mk II it's for wing foilers who prefer the continuous grip of a boom over the standard handles — precise hand placement, direct feedback from the wing, and a comfortable hold during extended time on the water.
